There are many ways to make learning extend outside the classroom in Al-Madina language schools:
  • Field Trips : the phrase "field trip" may bring to mind long bus rides , sack lunches and museum tours , but field trips can take a variety of forms that meet a variety of needs and can enhance deep , active learning. Along with the engagement with concepts that is required by these experiences, the student enhances the learning experience and creates a learning community as students continue onward in a discipline.
  • School camps: One way to escape the confines of the classroom and to afford students opportunities to grow is to encourage the students in Al-Madina Language Schools to learn from and to serve the surrounding community. In its simplest form this may involve school camps into a community where students will have discussions with community members on an issue related to course content. In these projects, student growth can be extensive whether it is through improved critical thinking, and problem solving skills, greater personal efficacy and leadership development or enhanced social responsibility and career opportunities.
  • Technology outside the classroom: Today's smart phones and tablet devices, (ipads and such) make it easy for students to bring digital technology with them when they leave the classroom. Mobile devices have a variety of mechanism for collecting and sharing data. Even simple "feature" phones can take photos and send text messages. Students use these devices to generate location-specific content.
  • Varying lesson location: In Al-Madina Language Schools, we move our class outside, playgrounds and gardens make greater teaching locations. Students relax more when they are outside, for example , teachers play games with the students. We also have other fun activities outside the classroom. It's fun to take students to different public locations for their lessons. One lesson most of our students love is when to take them to the school library, computer lab. and English club. Teachers give them assignments to complete in pairs and they walk around trying to find the information. You will also be impressed to see our theatre performances and shows where you enjoy unique singing and dancing.
Finally, out of class activities also work well when we take students to museums, historic buildings, and tourist attraction or even around the city of Tanta on Al-Madina Language School buses.

In fact the student in Al-Madina Language School is at the heart of active learning. Learning that is based on meaningful collaboration. The objective being set is learner-centred not teacher focused. In other words the active participation of every student is a necessary aspect in active learning where students must be doing things and simultaneously think about the work done and the purpose behind it so that they can enhance their higher - order thinking capabilities.

Really, administors in Al-Madina Language Schools strive to create a learning environment in which students can learn to restrict the new information and practise it and in which learning occurs through discussion, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving and connecting new learning with one's own world, this is on the one hand.

On the other hand, administrators spare no effort to help the learner to be motivated, engaged, empowered and excited to learn concepts deeply because concepts are made relevant and meaningful to their current lives.

In short, in Al-Madina Language Schools, we implement a form of learning in which a strategy has promoted achievement levels and content mastery is possible through active learning strategies, a form of learning which transfers students from being passive listeners to active participants and a form of learning that helps students understand the subject through inquiry, gathering and analyzing data to solve higher -order cognitive problems.

Finally, the goal of our creative education is to challenge each student, encourage differentness and to encourage different responses.
